sorry didnt get to post anything yesterday, for some reason i decided that i needed to sleep till 1115 and had to leave for work by 1215 so i had enough time to wake up and get ready for work. nothing too new here, just thought that i would update everyone about the nothingness that is going on here. talk to you later joe

There will be a lot of news forthcoming as of next friday. just be patient. You will also understand why i havent been so on target with my postings. sorry for that. Cooperstown was very nice. Kate and i had a very good day out there. fun too. finally got back to the Hall of Fame, which was very nice. They are in the middle of renovations aswell, but still very informative and fun. we walked around main street for a few hours visiting shops. Kate found a place with a bunch of Coke stuff, mostly tin lunchboxes, and pill boxes and such. really nice stuff. Then we ended up eating at TJ's. good food decent prices and the best part for kate was that it was all decked out in coke. every where. couldnt fit another thing with coke on it in there. Next saturday we are going to the Rennaissance festival in Sterling. This ought to be fun neither of us has been there and we both want to go. Then at the end of July i took vacation so we are going to go camping up in the adirondacks. maybe at limekiln but probably at another place that was across the road. should be fun either way. her brother and sister and the kids are supposed to go with us too. well, i think that is all. talk to you later joe

Hey gang, i finally get to go to Cooperstown tomorrow. unfortunatley it has to wait till we go to the dentist in the morning. darnit. stupid dentist crap anyways. either way i cant wait. and unfortunately it seems that i will have yet another sleepless night on my hands. why sleep a few hours and be more tired when i wake up than not sleep and nap a few times tomorrow. or just go to bed early tomorrow night. we shall see what happens. anyways. Well, i am fianlly getting the hang of programming for the internet. finally figuring out how to get everything to work together. unfortunatley for the time being i am only having a very basic website. it will improve as my skills do and as i can figure them out on my own or find sources where i can figure them out for free. but hey i have finally taken the plunge. yipee. I finally got a new badge at work that says line cook yesterday. now its official, raise and new badge. finally getting somewhere. Im thinking about going into the brazillian steakhouse they are going to have in the new tower, but i dont know. i already know one of the other cooks is going to do that so i dont know. i think that all of us in the Forrest are thinking about it. After the shitty night we had on saturday i think we all might just try anf go. who knows. FYI: Only about 8% of humans own a car. talk to you later joe

Sunday again

hello again. looks like another bright day out there. well, we got our arses kicked last night at work. only two people on to run a three person line, yipee. good times though good times. on the bright side of things i finally got my raise and am now officially a gourmet line cook in the Forest Grill. yeah for me. good timing on that raise too, now i can get stuff paid down and move out. yeah again. so it seems that there is more good news than bad today. well, i think that is all the new and exciting stuff. talk to you later joe

long morning

well, this morning i finally got my buttocks in gear and got a domain name for myself and a hosting plan. so hopefully sometime inthe near future you will be able to go to JoesTown.com and see something. for some reason right now it doesnt seem to exist. ill have to look into it tonight as soon as i can log onto the page and put stuff there. a little trouble with passwords and such. hopefully it will be resolved later. anyways, it was a nice quiet weekend spent up north. got to clean my truck out totally and completly. looked really good for about one day then i went and got kate at work at 10 pm and well, all the bugs are back on it. damn things. talk to you later joe

nothing new today, only that its my friday. just thought i would let you know. also i finally got around to starting my own website. right now its just prelim, one of those projects you always here me talking about doing you can finally view it. The front page will change though and it will be less star trekish. so for now enjoy,i have added the link to my profile too, but here it is none the less. News Tidbits

Yesterday was one of those days that you wished would just curl up and wither away so you wouldnt have to go through it again days. The work day started off fine but then that is where all the goodness ended. I had 5 steaks come back that were under cooked. good that they were undercooked and not over, we can fix undercooked steak a lot cheaper than over cooked. There was a big uproar about the trimming of fat from the ribeye steaks. Anywhere you go you get all the fat, here we are supposed to trim it so that they get more steak than fat. well, co-worker rose a stink about it so i dont argue with him, and i just trimmed the front of the steak and cut the two ends off and threw it in the cooler for the wait staff. As i could forsee happening there was "too much fat" on the steak. I think everyone had a bad night servers, cooks, dining attendants, all bad. But thank god today is a new day and we can start over. Ive got a few news items that i thought were interesting so i figured i would send them along to you. 1. Meteorite Crashes Through New Zealand Roof. Very interesting to say the least. you dont see that everyday, hell every year. 2. Mayor Pushes for a Quieter New York Yeah because that will be possible. I found that first one at slashdot and the second one was reported all over the place but i took it report from the Washington Post.
