well, it has begun

its finally begun, i have started my new job, so far its not too bad. easy as i expected it to be. and when i start nights this friday i wont really have anyone to manage me so itll be all me. ill have another cook for a while but after that i will have noone. just me and the waitresses/waitress. not really sure yet how the whole night crew in the front of the house works, but we shall see. im really hoping that this will be worth my time, and seems to pay more than i expected forma second job and i only have to work three days a week. like i sais shouldnt be too bad, unfortunaelty i do not get any actual full days off seeing as they scheduled me for the two days i said i would prefer off, thurs and fri. but oh well, i've had worse. thats all the new news right now so i will talk to you later. i gotta work at both jobs tomorrow so from 9 in the morning till 1030 tomorrow night its all work minus the hour to get to the casino. yeah me, but the moeny is the object right now. talk to you later joe

the big day

well, tomorrow is the big day for me. i get to start my part time job, tomorrow morning bright and early i have to be to work at 6 in the morning. they will just keep me here until i get used to what i have to do. should be funa nd at least i get a paycheck form it. So i was reading this article in Wired News about and open source newspaper in California. It looks like a really neat idea, be real good for a small town. its in this article, you can read all about it. you see they let anyone from the community write a story about whatever it is they are interested in as long as it meets the criteria. so the newspaper online is constantly updated with news and events from the area. and once a week the editor picks the best stories and they get published in the weekly paper. i thought this was a really neat idea and thought i would pass it around.

finally

again sorry for the delay. been oddly busy. so i do now have a second job part time. i start on fri. its at one of the local all nite truck stop restaurants. ill be working from 12 at night till 6-8 in the morning. then i go home sleep go to the casino. yeah me. but it will give me the extra cash to buy things and pay down my bills. yesterday i worked with kates sister and brother in law on stripping a house. so i will get money from that. it was fun work, definately took out some aggression on those shingles. all good though. we went to camp this week which was fun and then kate got sick so we came home on monday as you know. uhm... i think that is all. talk to you later joe

the book

So i finished the latest dan brown book that i bought. and i have to say damn good. its called Deception Point. as usual its a fast read, it only takes place over 2-3 days and kicks ass the entire way. its about a conspiracy of the government finding a meteorite with fossils in the artic circle. and goes from there and suprises you in the end with who know about it and who the mastermind is behind it all. i am kinda hoping i can gather the money together to get the DaVinci Code, they only have it in hard back at this point, but i think as with the other 5 books by Dan Brown that i have read it should be all the critics say it is. nothing else new, just started my vacation today. fun so far. oh and i finally bought another game for my x-box. This time it was crash bandicoot. fun so far. right now the kids are occupying themsleves with it. yeah. anyways, thats all for now. talk to you later joe

Only a day away

Praise the lord i am only a day away from a quick 8 day vacation. On sat night after kate gets out of work we are going up to camp to spend sun-tues up there. damn i cant wait. nothing new here other than we seen our first picture of the baby the other day. The baby looks like a lima bean, nothing more. we also got to see its heart beat. really cool. nothing else new so... talk to you later joe

Sorry about the delay in writing something. i have been very busy and have been having trouble with my comp randomly deleting programs. very interesting to say the least. kinda sucks cause it just deleted the program that keeps my passwords, this may cause a minor problem if the database was deleted and not just the program. oh well, they can be repaired and fixed with a little time. anyways, uhm...nothing new here. kate just had her first ultrasound done for the baby, feb 22-25 is when its due. about what they said before. we could see the heart beating. very exciting. work is going well, and so is everything else. New solitare

I downloaded a new program that expands on the solitare game that comes with windows. its called 123 Free Solitare. There are 12 different games that you can play with a deck of cards. This is from the maker of SolSuite, its their free version. You have to make sure that you go to the very bottom of the download page and pick the right one. Solsolitare is at the top and go figure it confused me to start even though i read this disclaimer. Nothing new here other than its my weekend. talk to you later joe

sorry its been so long, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff going on here. katie is out of work for another week. she might be able to go back next tuesday, it all depends on if she feels better. the good part is we may get workers comp. well, she may. thank god its my friday as well. i downloaded a few new programs last night, ill tell you about them when i get more time. hopefully tomorrow or so. did i mention today is my friday, thank god again. talk to you later joe

that katie went to the hospital yesterday because she pulled some muscles in her lower back. so she is laid up for the next four days. yeah. ;) other than that there isnt anything else new. nope nuttin. did you all here that marlon brando died, sad it is. anyways... talk to you later joe

The biggest of news

well, i can now finally tell all of you what the big news is. I am going to be a father. yes katie is pregnant and so far due on the 25 of february. we have to go back next week or so and have an ultrasound done. That was the news and other than that we have nothing new to share. only that i have about two weeks or so before i can go on vacation again. yeah me. talk to you later joe
