Casino update

well, i fianlly found out what the pay rate was going to be for the bakery. its going to be 10.22, exactly what i am making so that is good. i can deal with that. with me working nights i can go do all the things that happen in the evening, sounds really good to me. i got my 90 day review today all good with a few items above normal. they said that i should go to the classes that the casino offers and to look through cook books to get more ideas for specials and that i should walk with someone that is doing inventory so that i can see what that is all about. all in all a very good review. everything is good on the home life too. nothing new there. so ill get to the casino update for ya. Construction and Expansion update from the weekly team meber newsletter: "The semi-circular drive in front of the Winter Garden will have a paving-stone surface, which workers began installing last week. Like the drive leading to the Lodge, the Winter Garden driveway has a steam-heat system underneath the paving stones to prevent snow and icve build-up during the winter. That system will be connected to an outdoor water feature in front of the Winter Garden. Inside, the Winter Garden is beginning to coalesce into a light, airy space with a tropical feel. Several 22-foot palm trees were planted last week, as were some other trees and a few exotic plants. The stonework on the interior walls neared completion last week, and roof-supporting columns are being clad in rich wood panels with metal accents. Furniture for the Tower Hotel began arriving last week. Part of the Tower's front desk also is in place, to the right of the escalators as you enter the Winter Garden. The brown-toned marble floor tile flows from the Winter Garden into the Tower reception area, and a third waterfall is in place next to the escalators. The escalators will carry guests to the new restaurant on the Winter Garden's second level and to the corridor leading to the Events Center. Escalators also have been installed near the new banquet kitchen in the Events Center. These will provide guests easy access between the Events Center and the gaming floor. The Events Center also will have a new audio/visual room and a new room for unused cards and dice. Crews began laying stone last week for the new 200-foot wall at the main entrance to the resort on Route 365. The new wall will replace the existing one and will hold new Turnign Stone signage. Shelves and counters have been installed in the pro shop area of the new clubhouse at Atunyote. Crews are painting, installing lighting and other fixtures, and finishing the brick veranda on the rear of the building." Another update will come next week about the same time. these newsletters come out either monday or tuesday of every week. Nothing else to report so... talk to you later joe
